Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?"You should do what is needed to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 48 hours of wear. After that 48-hour period, the adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. However, keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as in saunas or certain facials is recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.
-

After fanning, don’t forget to brush again with a clean mascara wand.

Try washing your lashes in the morning and gently brushing the top side of the extensions with a finger placed beneath. If too much tugging is noticed, please contact your technician to schedule an appointment

Do I have to do anything to prepare for the service? Please be sure to arrive to your lash appointment with clean eyes & a makeup-free face. Avoid using eye creams, serums or oils around your eye area as they will prevent the under-eye pads from staying in place during the treatment. If necessary, use an oil-free makeup remover to cleanse your lashes prior to the appointment as well to remove any leftover eyeliner or mascara if you tend to wear a decent amount of eye makeup. At the beginning of each of our lash services our lash artist will thoroughly cleanse your lashes using a mild lash extension-safe cleanser to remove any leftover oils. Lashes should not be permed or manually curled at the time of appointment.
-
What happens if I choose to have my eyelash extensions removed? We do offer a service to have the extensions removed involving a short thirty-minute appointment in which we apply a gel remover. The gel remover is applied on top of the extensions without touching the skin and allowed to sit for 10 minutes. Once the adhesive is dissolved the extensions are gently wiped away with lint free applicators exposing the natural lashes.

How do I care for Lashes after a Lift and/or Tint?Day 1: Your lashes are freshly lifted so they will need some time to set. For the next 24 hours, be extra careful with them. Avoid getting them wet, rubbing them, the use of cosmetics or sleeping directly on them. If there is redness and irritation, please contact your Esthetician immediately. 48 Hours Out: Your lashes are still flexible, so you still need to continue to be careful and avoid water, rubbing your eyes and sleeping on your face. If possible, wait a little bit longer before applying makeup to your lashes. 72 Hours Out: You can begin to relax and resume your normal skincare regimen. However, do not rub your eyes and avoid using aggressive products for removing eye makeup. 2 Weeks Out: You do not have to do anything special, just avoid oil-based, water-proof products. 3 Weeks Out: If you had your lashes tinted, the tint has probably started to wear off. Avoid exposure to UVA/UVB rays and over cleansing your lashes as it will speed up the fading process. 4 Weeks Out: You can start applying nourishing agents and growth serums. **We suggest that clients stop using all lash growth serums 48 hours prior to their lash lift service and wait another 4 weeks before resuming use. Lash growth serums extend the growth phase of the lash cycle and slows the release phase. This can cause complications with the lash growing out. ** Please discontinue the use of lash curlers or heated curlers during your perm.

How Do I Maintain My Lash Lift? The great thing about Lash Lifts is that they are really low maintenance! After the first 48 hours, generally, you can resume normal activities.
-
How Long after Lash Lift Can I Shower? You can shower the very same day. We advise that you should avoid getting your lashes wet so be mindful of the water running in your face and avoid long, steamy showers.
-
How Long after Lash Lift Can I Wash My Face? You can resume your normal skincare regimen 48 hours after your lash lift treatment, when your lashes are set.
-
Can I Wear Mascara or Eyeliner after My Lash Lift Treatment? We recommend waiting the full 48 hours after your Lash Lift treatment to apply cosmetics to your lashes.
-
Can I Wear Waterproof Mascara After My Lash Lift Treatment?Waterproof mascara is something that should be avoided. Firstly, because it contains aggressive ingredients that dry your lashes. Secondly, removing it requires aggressive products and some rubbing. All of that can weaken your lash lift. It is likely that you will not need mascara if you choose to do the tint with your Lash Lift, but if you want to highlight them even more, we recommend using an oil-free, non- waterproof mascara.
-
Can I Apply Oil After My Lash Lift Treatment? Not immediately after it. In fact, you should avoid it as well as oil-based products. About a month after your treatment and before your next Lash Lift service, you may start to condition your lashes. They have been treated with chemical products, so you will want to nourish them to maintain the integrity of your natural lashes. The best option is to use castor oil, or you may resume your growth serums at this point. Please avoid using growth serums 48 hours prior to your Lash Lift service in addition to waiting the full, recommended 4 weeks post-treatment before using a growth treatment serum. Lash growth serums extend the growth phase of the lash cycle and slows the release phase. This can cause complications with the lash growing out.
-
What if I Mess up My Lash Lift? This is unlikely to happen if you follow the proper aftercare instructions. If you feel as though you may have missed a few things in your aftercare instructions and your lashes aren’t holding up well, please wait at least one full month until you repeat the treatment to avoid over processing your lashes.
-
If I Get My Lashes Tinted, Will the Tint Last The Duration of My Lash Lift?"No, because of cleansing regimens, natural oils, and environmental factors such as sunlight exposure, typically you will see the tint fading sooner.
-
How Do I Make My Lash Lift Last Longer?Due to the normal growth cycle of natural lashes, typically, one can expect to maintain their look for roughly 4-6 weeks depending on their individual lash cycle. To ensure that they do not fall prematurely , be sure to follow all the proper aftercare instructions for the first 48 hours.
-
What are the most important things to remember? The KEY things to remember are as follows: Do not get them wet for 48 hours post-lift, avoid the use waterproof cosmetics, do not use any growth serums during the first 4 weeks after having your lift done, DO NOT rub your eyes, and try to keep your lashes dry if you go swimming.
-
Are There Any Touch Ups Needed? No, a touch-up appointment is not necessary as part of our lash lift treatment. Your lashes should be lifted for about 4-6 weeks. After that, they will start to drop as they grow out and new lashes replace your lifted lashes. You will want to schedule a new lash lift service at this point if you want to maintain the look of lifted lashes.
